Weekly Menu - Week of 8/13

Last weeks meals went really well.  I posted about the Smothered Pork chops and Curried Cauliflower "Popcorn" because they were so good!!!  There was one recipe we tried, the Chicken Roll-ups, we didn't care for too much.  They were just way too tasteless for us so, I just tossed the recipe so I wouldn't make the mistake of making it again :-)

Saturday: Eating out with friends (actually . . .our friends were sick so we ended up ordering dinner in from a local Italian place after the kids went to bed - it was a lot of fun! )

Sunday: Hamburgers and "daddy" fries (a long time ago, my dad made fries for our family and cut them into chunks instead of normal fries and we called them "daddy fries". . . I still make them that way!)

Monday: Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Baked Brown Rice, and peas - This is a recipe I had planned to try several weeks ago but it got pushed out that week.  We really love meatballs so I'm hoping this turns out well.

Tuesday: Cabbage Rolls (Crockpot meal), and Summer squash and chive pancakes

Wednesday: Baby Mama Breakfast Casserole, Snickerdoodle Muffins, and Honey Lime Fruit Salad

Thursday: Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti and Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread

Friday: The plan is to have Brats on the grill with Baked Beans and any veggies that are left in the house by Friday but, there are also a few things going on in neighboring towns such as the Danish Festival where we could get some good Festival food or a Movie night where we could take the kids to watch a movie on the green so dinner may change :-)  We'll see!!

Looking forward to trying a few new things this week (Monday and Tuesday)  as well as some old favorites  (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)
