Too Cute Not To Toot!

I realize that it is not officially summer but, Memorial Day IS the unofficial start of summer and that is a good thing.  We've added our first pink color to our skin (yes, we are wearing sunscreen too!), swam in our new pool AND went to the beach, put up a swingset and are starting our summer fun plans.  I find myself looking more and more for ideas to do with my kids on top of crafts for me.

We'll start with this great idea from Mer Mag for building a castle, well, I loved it.  My boys are starting to love things like pirates, castles, and dino's so I think this would be perfect for them!
I think this idea from Delia Creates for a B-I-N-G-O summer bucket list is beyond creative.  I plan on printing the free pintable and putting in my summer binder.  Right now my boys are not big on rewards but I think in years to come, they will so this will be a fun activity.

Oopsey Daisy has a guest post up and it is adorable - it's a Super Hero mask.  Guess what my June project is?? To make super hero capes for the boys . . I'm going to add these masks to the list!

Here's a great blog post from Spell Out Loud with a lot of ideas to do with preschoolers in the summer.  I'm going to have to print many of these and add them to our Summer Binder.

This cute idea from Dukes and Duchesses is great for a first year baseball player or I thought it would be great for a Father's Day Gift if your spouse loves baseball like mine does!  I'm thinking that I might have just found the fun part of the Father's Day gift for this household!

One of the things on my wish list/saving for list is an Ice Cream Maker.  I have the one I want all picked out and, to make it better, our niece has one so I know it really as good as all of the reviews!  This Limeade Recipe from The Idea Room sounds so yummy just as a cool drink but to make it into a slushy?  That is a double Yummy!!
