I know you may find this hard to believe but I actually stuck to my planned menu this week - even our lunches! I can tell the holidays are over - it is easier to stay with a plan!!
This is what we are eating this week!
Saturday: We have plans to attend a family birthday party for our nephew so, as far as I know, we are eating there :-)
Sunday: Ham, Roasted Cabbage Wedges (oh, I didn't make these last week - I forgot to buy cabbage), Carrots, and Rolls
Monday: BBQ Cups and French Fries
Tuesday: Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes w/ buns, Roasted Parmesan Green Beans (both new items - I hope they are good!!)
Wednesday: Sticky Lemon Chicken (another new recipe - found it like 3 months ago and it just hasn't made it on the menu!), Brussel Sprouts . . .I found a recipe that swears even haters will like it and I feel like being daring, Puff Pastry Twists
Thursday: My kids are heading to my parents for the weekend so I have nothing planned - if it happens that Darryl is gone, I'll just grab something for me or eat left overs; if Darryl's home, we'll order a pizza or eat leftovers.
Friday: Rehearsal dinner for my niece's wedding
Hopefully I'll have some more new recipes to share in the weeks to come (or some epic fails HA!)
