Halloween

Halloween is such a fun holiday.  I mean, what other holiday do you get to dress up as anything you want and then get free candy? ?

It's always fun to look back at photos!

And . . ..2019!! Josh is a wizard and Nate is a Creeper

We start talking about costumes in the summer so I have plenty of time to order what they want.  Nate's was a little bit of a fluke.  I got the mask online but couldn't find a costume.  He was just going to get a bright green shirt and black pants but we went into Wal-mart and found the PJ's (a "onsie") that was his exact costume!  How crazy is that!!

Weekly Worship - "I Shall Not Want" - Audrey Assad

I had never heard of this artist before this past week when a friend shared this song as her current favorite.  I can understand why she loves her. The lyrics are just amazing!

Our Week in Photo #39

Here's a look back at our week!

On Saturday, we went to my in-law's to celebrate Josh's birthday.

I also took some "formal" photos outside at my in-laws.  I had hoped for better fall colors but things were still really green!

Sunday - We had church, went out to lunch and I went grocery shopping.  The day seemed to be filled up with stuff!

Monday - School and we had a field trip! We visited our local SMAT campus which is an airplane technical and flight school.  Josh has dreams of fixing and flying planes so it was neat to see this opportunity in our "own back yard".

Tuesday - Josh's birthday!  We started with lunch at Pizza Ranch, Played Glow Golf and video games, went to Sky Zone and ended the day with burgers from Checkers!

Wednesday - We. were.tired.  BUT, we did school.  AND piano lessons.  Plus the boys went to AWANA and then they went to bed HA!

Thursday - We had a full day of school.  It was also our cities annual Harvest Fest!!

Since Halloween is just a week away, I can share their costumes.

The Harvest Fest downtown is always a great time of trick-or-treating, playing games, and just enjoying getting to walk in the streets!

Friday - We have Friday School followed by Josh's "overnight birthday party" with his best friend and Nate.
