See, I follow a blog called Bring the Rain, which is written by the wife of one of the members of the group Selah. I just happened to click on something called "Bloom" on her Blog and low and behold, it was a book club. It has been something that she and a friend of hers have been doing for awhile but now have joined forces with another site called (in)courage to hose the book club. I'm so excited to follow this through!
The first book we are reading is One Thousand Gifts written by Ann Voskamp.
I'm so excited to get my book and start reading. Basically, we read a chapter a week and than follow on the blog once a week to see the video from the book club. If you are interested in reading more on this club, just check here!
So, this works toward another of those 40 x 40 goals that I posted long ago! Progress is being made little by little :-)

Hey Jackie!
I've left about three comments here, and they won't stick! I'm on a different computer right now so hopefully it will work this time. (It's my computer, not your blog. It's happened on several blogs for the past few days! Ugh!)
Anyway, a few things...first of all, you asked about my camera about a week ago (I've been trying to tell you since then!). It's a Nikon D3000. It's a great camera, although I have a wish list that my hubby tells me I can keep wishing on. :)
Also, I LOVE your "What I'm loving Wednesdays" posts! What kind of coffee maker was that you mentioned in your last one? I've been thinking about getting one of those...
I love all of the cute crafty things you feature too! It's awesome! Although it's making my to-do list much longer! Ha!
Take care and I'm looking forward to what cool stuff you find next! :)
Thanks for sharing this! I have also been interested in joining a book club...love the site that you shared. How did I not know about this site until now?!? I now have a new blog to follow too!
I have a friend in my GMG group, who is doing this book with the online group you talked about. I pray God speaks to you both in great and mighty ways through this study!
Thanks ladies I'm really enjoying this book!
