Our weekly snapshot
Here’s a look back at our week:
(They loaded backwards so start at the bottom!)
On Saturday we worked in some family projects. These guys worked on ripping out poison ivy (the hazmat suits are hilarious)
These are actually from last Friday - Josh and Averie worked on painting their “Senior Jeans”

Weekly Menu
We have a HUGE music festival coming in to town this weekend so I have planned ahead to try and avoid unnecessary trips to the store. (Upwards of 40,000 people are arriving in Ionia beginning yesterday for the weekend. It’s going to be a zoo)
So here’s my plan!
Friday - Quiche Night - Mushroom Spinach and Swiss cheese quiche and Three Cheese quiche. Since they are both meatless I plan to cook Bacon to go along side and make a blueberry coffee cake.
Saturday - we have some fun plans during the day (pending how bad the traffic is - if it’s crazy we aren’t going anywhere!) with my mom and then the guys head to a men’s night.
Sunday - to keep it simple before our Fantasy Football draft I’m making little sausage crescent rolls, pasta salad, and party queso
Monday - Cheesy potato soup and bread
Tuesday - Beef Flautas and rice
Wednesday - Sausage Gravy and Biscuits
Thursday — Pretzel mustard crusted chicken and fried rice

Weekly Menu
As summer winds down and our fall schedule starts I shift gears with menu planning as our evenings get a little fuller and we eat in shifts more often. I tried the idea of meal prepping for the week this past week by cooking meals for Tuesday-Thursday all on Tuesday. Won’t do that again! 🤣🤣🤣👎. Ha! I did not enjoy cooking for endless hours in one day! I’d rather plan super easy meals!
Anyway, here’s the plan!
Friday: Boneless turkey breast and potatoes in the crockpot
Saturday - Dinner at my moms
Sunday - it’s Baptism Sunday so we will be later heading for home and plan to grab something.
Monday - Spaghetti Carbonara and French Bread
Tuesday - Amish baked chicken and noodles
Wednesday - everyone’s kind of on their own
Thursday - Barbacups and fries
