Weekly Menu
June was a blur. An absolute blur! We have been running nearly non-stop for the past 2-3 weeks and I'm looking ahead knowing we can breath a little sigh of relief as things slow down this next week. For real. Two weeks of Josh and Nate involved in Day Camps has meant a lot of running around, friends over, and get togethers. I know this seems like a funny "marker" - but it was evident how little we were home by the fact that our trash can was nearly empty after a week HA!. Today is the last day of day camp and then we can breath a little. Nate will be off to work at camp and Josh will still have work to get to but it's much calmer! Here's the plan for the coming week:
Friday (6/26) - we have an Open House to attend tonight.
Saturday (6/27) - the guys have a men’s gathering and I plan to use my quiet evening to scrapbook! I ordered a pizza in my grocery order to stick in the oven to keep dinner super simple.
Sunday (6/28) - have a concert today — Darryl and I are going to grab something before I have to be at the church for the concert; my guys are riding home with my mom.
Monday (6/29) - shrimp and grits and cornbread
Tuesday (6/30) - Swedish Meatballs and Noodles
Wednesday (7/1) - pasties - I picked up some frozen Pasties from a great shop near us to have in the freezer for an easy dinner. So, tonight is the night!
Thursday (7/2) - I'm not 100% sure. This is the day Josh works the longest and I clean our church and then hang out and wait for him so we aren't running back and forth multiple times. It may just end up being frozen pizza once we get home!

Our Weekly Snapshot
Here’s a look back at our week:
We picked Nate up from Staff Training on Saturday morning. He had a great time!Josh snd Nate are at Worship Camp this week. Josh is attending as a camper but is also volunteering as a drum instructor. Nate is enjoying the week as a camper.
We’ve had lots of rain, storms, and hail this week. I was sitting in my vehicle on Tuesday and caught this rainbow as the hail fell all around.
Look who showed up at the Hospital gift shop WITH a coffee from Sozos! Ken and Kel arrived at my moms on Wednesday evening. My mom knew Ken was coming but Kel was a surprise!
Fun all week at Worship Camp.

Weekly Menu
As I mentioned last week, my brother Ken will be here around this time (not sure of the exact dates yet). So, I will plan my menu with knowing that some days we will be at my mom's enjoying time with Ken.
Here's the plan
Friday (6/19) - The boys have a Worship concert tonight so they eat at camp. Darryl and I will grab something.
Saturday (6/20) - this is up in the air as everyone is going different directions; I’m not sure when or where we will all land by dinner!
Sunday (6/21) - It's Father's Day! And my brother will be here! So maybe we can do steaks on the grill or something on the grill.
Monday (6/22) - I know we will eat at home as I have choir practice. Zuppa Soup and bread is the plan
Tuesday (6/23) - Josh and Nate have Bible Study so I’m not sure on dinner - maybe the adults will eat together🤷♀️
Wednesday (6/24) - my freezer and cupboards are full so I’ll pick based in plans and who is home!
Thursday (6/25) - Dinner at my mom’s with Ken before he heads out on Friday.

Weekly Menu
This next week Josh and Nate will be gone during the day at Worship Camp. They really enjoy this week of creating music with friends; it is a little hard to fathom that this is Josh's last year as a camper. It is the first of the "last" things for him as he is now a Senior!
Here's the plan:
Friday (6/12) - Amish Chicken, mashed potatoes and roasted veggies
Saturday (6/13) - We have to pick Nate up from a week of camp, attend an Open House for Lunch plus some running in the afternoon for Josh as he has a staff meeting for camp. Dinner - I’m leaning towards tacos because it’s easy!
Sunday (6/14) - We are heading to my in-laws for the day.
Monday (6/15) - Chick-Fa-Lay Nuggets (homemade) and Fries
Tuesday (6/16) - I “think” it’s just Darryl and I as the boys have Bible Study after worship camp. So we might grab something easy.
Wednesday (6/17) - Slow Cooker Zuppa and Bread
Thursday - 6/18) - Pork loin and fried rice
A side note - my brother, Ken, is coming up for a visit some time around now - I just don't have exact dates so this menu may change!
